Activists: Syrian jets attack Damascus camp

At least 25 people were killed on Sunday - after Syrian fighter jets attacked a camp in Damascus.

Amateur video purportedly showed a mosque where opposition activists said people had tried to seek shelter - from government jets bombing the Palestinian Yarmouk camp.

The offensive was part of a month-long campaign by President Bashar al-Assad's forces to try to push out rebels positioned on the outskirts of the capital city.

Meanwhile, in Aleppo, rebels said they seized a Syrian army's infantry college on Saturday.

Video that could not be independently verified by Reuters - appeared to show aftermath after five days of fighting in the northern city.
