War on Red Shirts: Thai govt to send snipers, threatens to shoot armed protesters

Thailand's government has threatened to send armoured vehicles and snipers into a Bangkok neighbourhood to get rid of red shirt protesters. They also warned that water and electricity supplies may be cut off in the area. The protesters claim the current government came to power illegitimately through manipulation. Thailand's Prime Minister said he had withdrawn his offer of an early election because the red-shirt's have refused to end their sit-in.
