ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)

Anti-government protesters scuffled with "red-shirts" who support ousted Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra in Bangkok on Saturday.

Two people were injured, local media said.

Reports said the protesters argued with the rival red-shirt supporters who were gathering for a rally at a nearby stadium, and a fist-fight ensued.

Blowing whistles and waving Thai flags, the anti-government protesters crowded around the people fighting as police looked on from a distance.

The mood in Bangkok is tense after a protest leader urged his supporters to take over government facilities on Sunday to shut down Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra's administration.

Protesters accuse Yingluck of pushing for laws that would strengthen the behind-the-scenes power of her exiled brother Thaksin.
