Does the holder of a Diplomatic Passport (DP) enjoy diplomatic immunity?

Although most diplomats with diplomatic immunity carry diplomatic passports, having a diplomatic passport is not the equivalent of having diplomatic immunity. The immunity is related to the diplomatic post and therefore also a member of the diplomatic staff employed in a diplomatic mission withouth diplomatic passport enjoys diplomatic immunity. But diplomatic technical and administrative staff have limited immunity under the Vienna Convention; for this reason, some countries may accredit technical and administrative staff as attaché.
