Disturbing video out of Syria: a seemingly unarmed man is gunned down by what appear to be anti-government rebels. He falls to the ground, and is shot again.

Another incident captured by Reuters: an injured man, thought to be a government figher, lies on the ground, surrounded by anti-Assad fighers.

"Kill me, kill me!" he pleads.

Body after body of what appear to be pro-Assad fighers line this bombed out building in Harem. These men were shot in the head.

Here - what seem to be a group of captured pro-government supporters, are seen lying in a pile on the ground, pleading with the rebels -- who then begin executing them.

The video - from a social media website - can't be confirmed by Reuters but was condemned by the UN as a possible war crime by Syrian rebels.

The battlefield discipline of the rebels has come under increased scrutiny and serious questions about their conduct in the revolt against President Bashar al-Assad are being asked.

Defecting officers from Assad's army have brought a measure of discipline to some rebel factions, but with the civil war getting more widespread, and more bitter, the possibility of controlling a unified rebel force seems to be more remote by the day.
