Superstorm Sandy shuts down bright lights of Broadway

STORY: New York City's famed "White Way" is on shut down as Hurricane Sandy descends on the eastern United States.
Broadway falls into the evacuation zone announced by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg over the weekend.

"In light of these conditions, I am going to sign an executive order mandating evacuation of Zone A areas."
All Broadway shows for Sunday (October 28) were canceled, and those on Monday (October 29) have also been suspended.
Radio City Music Hall announced that the box office and Stage Door Tour will also be shuttered as a public transportation shutdown holds in New York City.
