Austrian right wing politician jailed in bank scam plan

A former regional head of Austria's conservative People's Party has been sentenced to five and half years in jail.
Josef Martinz and three others were convicted in a breach of trust case that centred on a scam to milk money from the sale of the state bank Hypo Alpe Adria.
In June Austria introduced a law to tighten up rules on politicians' finances.
