Pakistani police fire into air to break up protests

In Pakistan, streams of demonstrators furious about an anti-Islam film. Police had to fire into the air to break up protesters headed for the U.S. consulate.

Thirty students were arrested and Protesters jammed the streets near the compound.

They burn an American flag, among other things, and are blaming the U.S. for a film denigrating the prophet Mohammad. While Washington denounced the film calling it "reprehensible," it has done little to quell anti-U.S. demonstrations throughout the Muslim word.
