Dozens killed in Baghdad blasts

Adding to a series of bombings in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad on Thursday, two more bombs exploded in the evening, according to Reuters news agency.

Targeting mainly Shia areas, a wave of 12 bombings across Baghdad during the early hours of the morning killed at least 63 people and injured 176.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks as yet.

But, following the withdrawal of US troops, sectarian tensions, which could bring down the unity government, have already been under the spotlight.
