Wildfires in Colorado grow more ferocious, forcing the evacuation of 32,000 people from their homes.

The U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs has also been evacuated.

The Academy also issued a statement saying the military is preparing to dispatch up to 25 more helicopters to join the firefighting effort.

Numerous homes at the edge of Colorado Springs have been engulfed in flames.

The Waldo Canyon Fire has roared through at least 6,200 acres of dry timber since Saturday.
