Ninja Gaiden review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Ninja Gaiden for Nintendo PlayChoice-10. I know, I know. This game is misnamed. It's not actually a "gaiden," or side story, because it's actually the main story of this series. What was wrong with "Legend of the Ninja Dragon Sword?" (A direct translation of the Japanese title, "NINJA Ryukenden.") That's, like, three more buzzwords right there. And it actually references the Dragon Sword from the first cutscene! Don't tell me you wouldn't have plunked quarters into that one for all time. And that'd be a lot of quarters, 'cuz this thing is a BEAST.
