Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos for the NES. Released by Tecmo in 1990, Ryu Hayabusa's adventures continue in this direct sequel. The intense sidescrolling platforming action is still intact, but new maneuvers, ninja magic, and phantom ninja clones enhance the challenging gameplay even further. Creative level designs, environment effects, and further polished presentation make this one of the best of the series, and a true classic on the Nintendo Entertainment System.
