Syrians flee for medical asylum in Jordan

Many Syrian civilians injured by the government's military crackdown on protesters have been forced to seek medical care in neighbouring Jordan.
Security forces have also taken control over many hospitals across the country to torture and detain people wounded by the crackdown, according to human rights groups and activists.
Nurses and doctors also face the constant threat of being attacked or imprisoned by authorities for trying to help the injured, in what appears to be part of an ongoing bid to crush the country's seven-month-old uprising.
In this Al Jazeera exclusive, Nisreen el Shamayleh reports from Amman, Jordan, where she visited Syrians who can not return to their home country for fear of reprisal from the Syrian government.
