South Africa's parliament is hearing a human rights committee's verdict on how well the government dealt with attacks on foreigners in 2008.

The violence left at least 67 people dead as South Africans angered by the belief that foreigners were taking away jobs targeted their communities.

Now, with temporary work provided by the World Cup drying up, there are fears that tensions could be on the rise again.
