Haiti's Martelly sets education goals high

Michel Martelly, the new president of Haiti, has promised that all the impoverished nation's primary school children would all be enrolled within his five-year term.

With an estimated 770,000 children targeted for the programme this year alone, many in Haiti are left to wonder who will pay the $45m annual bill for Martelly's lofty goal.

Further complicating Martelly's ambition is the cost of repairs needed for schools damaged in last year's devastating earthquake.
