Peggy has been practicing massage since 1986 and is Nationally Certified. She received her initial training at the New Mexico Academy of Massage and Advanced Healing Arts in Santa Fe and at Wellness Skills, Inc. in Dallas. She taught Clinical Anatomy and Physiology, Trigger Point Therapy and Swedish Technique at Wellness Skills, Inc. and is now on the faculty of Texas Healing Arts Institute in Austin.

In addition to her extensive training in massage therapy, Peggy holds a Masters Degree in Dance from American University in Washington, D.C. She also teaches dance and yoga and is a personal trainer. Peggy is an approved CEU provider for the Texas Department of Health (CEU Provider #0007), the National Certification Board for Therapuetic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and by the Florida Department of Health (Florida Provider #MCE-435-03)

This workshop offers you the tools to give your clients complete freedom from shoulder pain. Virtually all of our clients have experienced shoulder pain and injury. Learn about rotator cuff injuries, how to release the affected muscles and prevention of future injuries (yours and your clients!) Course also covers proper sleep position, stretching and strengthening exercises for the rotator cuff which are essential for the health of the shoulder joint.

Have some clients with lower back and hip pain? Learn how to palpate and release and stretch these vital, intrinsic muscles: the Quadratus Lumborum and Iliopsoas muscles are the key to proper low back and pelvis stabilization. You will use this information for the rest of your massage career!
