Belgians pause to remember crash victims

As the clock strikes 11 Belgians observe a minute's silence to remember 28 people, 22 of whom were children, who died in a bus crash in Switzerland.

Some of those killed were from Lommel where residents shed tears as they remember those lost in the accident.

And in the town of Heverlee these young children fall silent as they mourn their fellow pupils.

As the minute ends white balloons with messages and drawings attached are released into the sky.
