Belgians mourn Liege victims

A somber day in Belgium as thousands mourn the victims of a deadly shooting.
A trumpeter plays "Danny Boy" exactly a week after the attack left the city of Liege in shock.
Thirty-three-year-old Nordine Amrani killed six people and injured more than 100 when he threw grenades and gunned down Christmas shoppers in the city centre before killing himself.
Standing among the victims' families is the mother of 17-month-old Gabriel.
(SOUNDBITE) (French) DOMINCO, ITALIAN RESIDENT OF LIEGE, SAYING:
"It is terrible to see something like this in Liege, I feel compassion for all the sufferers, especially for little Gabriel, who is now gone while he did not ask for this. We are all sad. I have lived in Belgium for 49 years and this shameful."
(SOUNDBITE) (French) MARIUS, RESIDENT IN NEARBY VILLAGE, SAYING:
"I feel sadness, I feel hate, you simply feel like crying, it is so sad, really sad."
State officials including the prime minister attended the memorial.
Belgium's prince and princess were also on hand to offer condolences and lay flowers at the bus stop where the attack occurred.
