Famous Paris square evacuated after underground fire

STORY: Paris' famous Place Vendome, the seat of Parisian luxury, was evacuated on Thursday after it was covered with a cloud of smoke following an underground car park catching fire.
The area was cordoned off to the public and some 90 firemen were dispatched to the scene to contain the blaze and stop it spreading.
Paris car parks are home to many squatters, like Paul, who was forced out with the smoke and said it was quite worrying.
Place Vendome is home to several jewelry and clothing stores such as Louis Vuitton and also the French Justice Ministry.
