Uganda, Namulonge: Bednet distributions

This distribution achieved blanket coverage in the village of Namulonge near Kamapla: all sleeping spaces were covered. Malaria is a significant problem here and blanket coverage with nets is the most effective way of protecting a community.

This distribution was coordinated by Immaculate Nansubuga, a registered midwife who runs the health clinic in the Namulonge, and by Project Restore.

A group from Project Restore, along with volunteers from the village, distributed and hung the nets and provided malaria education information, and ensured all nets have been hung before they left the village.
