Nike has formed a strategic partnership with DyeCoo Textile Systems, a Netherlands-based company that has developed and built the first commercially available waterless textile dyeing machines. DyeCoo’s technology eliminates the use of waster in the dyeing process by using recycled carbon dioxide. Nike has been exploring this technology for the past eight years and expects to showcase apparel using textiles dyed without water at events later this year.

Molson Coors has been selected for the 2012 Sustainable Asset Management’s Sustainability Yearbook. The brewing company was awarded two honors: SAM Sector Mover and SAM Bronze class. Molson Coors was cited as a Sector Mover for achieving the largest proportional improvement in sustainability performance compared to the prior year. The company was given the Bronze Class distinction for achieving a score within a range of five to 10 percent of the SAM Sector Leader.
