Hi, I am Tracy Paye with Miss Organized Professional Organizing Services. One of my favorite tricks to reducing clutter in the kitchen is to use your oven as a place to store your pots and pans. Of course this will only work if you do not use your oven quite often. However if you want to save the valuable real estate in your kitchen for those items that you do use frequently then I would recommend to put your pots and pans in the oven. Now in order to make that work you are going to have to make sure you remember to take the pots and pans out of the oven before you go and cook anything. That way you can access them easily when you are ready to, and you reduce the clutter and free up valuable real estate for the stuff that you do use frequently.

A great way to keep your cooking and food prep. utensils organized is to get drawer dividers in your kitchen drawers. This will be a great way for you to section off items that are similar. Such as your cooking, your cutting and your serving utensils in separate areas so when you are looking for that, you do not have to fumble around in the kitchen drawers to find them, they are all in one place sectioned off nice and neat. Another great tip for organizing your kitchen is to create zone. Zones are areas where you put items that are similar in nature together. For example, the baking zone, in the baking zone you can have your four, your sugar, your frosting and your brownies. That way when you are going to make or bake you can go to one area to find everything you need.

Another area could be your coffee area, this is where you would have your coffee mugs, your coffee grinds and your sugar. That way when you go to make your cup of coffee in the morning you just have it all in one place You are not having to fumble around the entire kitchen in order to be able to find it. Another trick that I like to use to help me stay on top of washing my dishes is, I like to leave a sink full of water and soap. If I have a dirty dish I just put it into the water and that way if I do not have time to wash the dishes or put them into the dishwasher I just stick them into the water. Then at the end of the day I take them out and put them into the dishwasher. This saves me a lot of time and it prevents me from having to look at a dirty pile of dishes that I just do not have time to do.
