14,000 employees of Eli Lilly have given $850,000 to more than 800 global projects in 2011. The donations included application of a $50 credit for each Lilly employee to direct toward a project of their choice through Lilly Global Giving; personal donations; and the foundation’s matching funds. Programs supported include those to help children in Guatemala and Haiti, to address food insecurity and illness in Zambia, and to provide disaster relief in Thailand, Turkey, and East Africa.

Domtar is extending its PAPERbecause campaign with a series of new ads that highlight the role of paper in today’s business. The campaign’s message is about using paper responsibly and making environmentally sound choices in the types of paper used. Print ads will appear in The New York Times, Fast Company, and National Geographic, and videos and banner ads will appear on a variety of websites.
