The explosions went off in Baghdad's mainly Shi'ite Sadr City neighbourhood, killing at least 10 people and wounding 50 others.
One shopkeeper asks why innocent people had to die.

"What do they want to achieve from this? What do they want from all these killings? Will this end? What did the people do to be killed? A blind man who sells newspapers here was burnt and a man who sells chickpea soup was killed too. What did those innocent people do? What do they want from the people?"
Two other bombs also went off in Shi'ite parts of Baghdad on Tuesday, bringing the total death toll to 13, with 75 wounded.
Violence has dropped in Iraq since the height of sectarian fighting in 2006-2007.
But insurgents and militias still carry out daily attacks and assassinations in an attempt to undermine the government.
