At least 60 civilians & 13 US troops were killed & scores of people injured as ISIS struck the crowded gates of Hamid Karzai Kabul airport in a suicide bomb attack. ISIS-K or Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP) has claimed responsibility for the suicide attacks. Hours after the twin blasts that rocked the Kabul airport, a third explosion was reported by AFP. Many unconfirmed reports said that there could have been more explosions. This incident disrupted the evacuation process as thousands of Afghans waited at the airport to leave the country as soon as possible. Videos shared on social media showed bodies covered in blood lying at the airport. President Biden promised to go after the perpetrators of August 26 bombings. Biden said he had ordered the Pentagon to plan how to strike ISIS-K. As per a report by Reuters, a Taliban spokesperson described the attack as the work of \"evil circles\" who would be suppressed once foreign troops leave. Watch the video to know more.
