Kid left home alone survives bullet through neck

But in the US state of Wisconsin a similar scenario saw a 12-year-old and 9-year old brother and sister used their wits to save themselves. Last Thursday night their father went to work leaving the two home alone. They heard the dogs barking and assumed that a thief was inside their home They immediately went to look for their fathers pistol. The gun went off. and the bullet passed through the girls chest just below the throat and exited through her back. The older brother attended to her wounds before going to bed. The school teacher noticed the 9 year old's pale face the next day and then learned she had been shot by her brother. She was immediately sent to hospital.
