Punjab polls: Amarinder Singh's brother quits Congress, joins Akali Dal

Malvinder Singh, brother of former Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh, has joined joining the rebel Akali Dal camp just ahead of the state elections. Sources say that Malvinder quit the Congress party after he wasn't given the party ticket from Samana, which was instead awarded to his nephew and Amarinder Singh’s son Raninder.
