Another of me playing the ex Paramount cinema, Manchester 4 manual 20 rank Wurlitzer organ installed at Stockport town hall.
Being a church organist, I simply had to play a hymn and so I chose 'I will enter his gates with thanksgiving in my heart' from the book 'Mission Praise'.
Many churches now have a music group for playing more modern worship songs like this. These usually consist of instruments such as Flutes, Brass and a Tambourine - the Wurlitzer has all of these!
I will admit I am a complete novice when it comes to playing the theatre organ. Im much more used to playing church organs but it was a truly wonderful experience to be able to play this beautiful Wurlitzer nicknamed the 'Queen'.
