CSR Minute: Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy Application Deadline; Global Reporting Initiative Launches Online Database

Applications for the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy’s Excellence Awards in Corporate Philanthropy are due by midnight tomorrow, November 16th. The awards, now in their 12th year, recognize the role that corporations and their nonprofit partners play in solving societal problems. Two companies will be honored at CECP’s Corporate Philanthropy Summit in June, and the Nonprofit Director’s Award will be given to a nonprofit for its successful partnership with a corporation. There is no fee to apply, and membership in CECP is not required.
The Global Reporting Initiative has launched an online database that allows users to analyze how companies report on sustainability.
