Flowers and candles at Apple HQ

This is the early-morning scene at Apple headquarters in Cupertino, California, where well-wishers have left candles and flowers to mark the passing of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.
There was a similar scene at his home in Palo Alto, California.
Even before day break, a lonely iPad with a picture of Jobs sat at the center of a makeshift memorial.
Neighbors and fans of the man, and the many products he created, say they just want to pay their last respects.
SOUNDBITE: DAWN SHOTSBERGER (ENGLISH) SAYING:
"You know, he touched so many people's lives here, whether you were in the tech industry or not, the man was a legend."
SOUNDBITE: JEFFREY CUTTER (ENGLISH) SAYING:
"It's just...and it hits me right in the heart, you know, because I didn't know him personally, but I knew his products personally, and I knew how to put them together and use them, and I love working with them, and I believe that Apple will go on to do many more great things."
A future without the visionary considered to be one of the greatest corporate leaders of this time.
Steve Jobs died Wednesday after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
