You obviously have a few different meal options for your wedding. A very popular one, especially here in New York City, is going to be the formal sit down. And this is nice just because all your guest are going to have a place to sit. You are going to do a cocktail hour and then you are going to have a formal dinner. Usually through your four courses and it's, you know, in between you can put in speeches and some dancing if you want.
Otherwise, the other option is buffet also. Again, I would recommend to always have enough seats for all the guest if you are going to do a dinner. Just because you don't want anyone to feel like they don't know where to sit or they, you know, are sort of like it's an awkward situation between families and friends and what not.
So I think we know whether we do a buffet or a sit down. You should definitely have enough seats for everyone. The only place where you don't have to is if you just have to do more of a cocktail style party where you might have more of a lounge sort of style where people just kind of just stand up and sit down and what not. And that is when you probably need maybe only seating for half of the guest. That is more of a glorified cocktail party.
