Aid Reaches Earthquake Victims in Burma

And in Burma's northern Shan state, aid has finally arrived for people displaced by last Thursday's 7 magnitude earthquake. But heavy rain in the area had slowed up the aid getting through... and is causing more worries for the homeless.
Victims of last week's 6.8 magnitude earthquake in Burma have been waiting for much needed aid supplies.
But in Tarley and Tachilek, the areas hardest hit by the tremors, aid workers were slowed down by heavy rain.
The supplies of much needed food and plastic sheets finally got through on Sunday.
[U Be Saw, Displaced Resident]:
"We are getting help today. There is heavy rain these days, and we were worried about our health if we stay in the rain. Anyway, it will be fine when we get the tarpaulin sheets today."
Several aftershocks have also rocked the region. The strongest was a magnitude 5.5 on Saturday.
Burma's authorities have not updated the death toll since last Friday.
The official death toll still stands at 74, and the number of injured at 111.
