Vorticity Estimated from Real PIV Sequence

Plot of vorticity computed from estimated velocity field.
Velocity field is estimated from real PIV 1024*1024px images, using wavelet-based optic flow technics.
Vorticity map is superimposed on input images, so as to enable a visual check/comparison between estimated particles' behavior and actual one.
