Two people gored in Spanish bull running

Two people were gored during a tense and dangerous second running of the bulls at Spain's famed San Fermin fiesta in Pamplona.

At least five other people were hospitalised after falling or being trampled, say officials.

Thousands took part in the run to keep ahead of six fighting bulls and six people acting as steers keeping the animals together along the course.

It was all over in under four minutes but there was panic when some bulls separated from the pack.

One runner was gored in the chest and hurled along the cobblestones of one of the narrow streets where the bull run takes place in Pamplona's old quarter.

A second man was gored in the leg. Five more were hospitalised. Last year's festival saw the first fatal goring in 15 years.
