La Salle escapes UE

The La Salle Lady Spikers may have escaped with a 5-set win over the UE Lady Warriors but they are far from satisfied with their performance. Expected to dominate UE even without its ace and league's reigning MVP, Angel Canino, La Salle struggled as UE fought back, 25-23, 21-25, 25-17, 22-25, 15-12, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. La Salle assistant coach Noel Orcullo described the win against UE a 'bad one' even as it pushed them to the top of the standings with a 9-1 slate.
