Archimedes Principle, Buoyant Force | Science Experiment #experiment #yt #viral #physics #shorts

The buoyant force is the upward force exerted on an object wholly or partly immersed in a fluid. This upward force is also called Upthrust. Due to the buoyant force, a body submerged partially or fully in a fluid appears to lose its weight, i.e. appears to be lighter.

If density of solid is less than the density of fluid, then if the body is completely immersed in fluid, force of buoyancy is greater than the weight of the solid and if we release the solid body from rest then it will move upward and finally floats on the surface of liquid.

If density of solid is greater than the density of fluid, weight of body is greater than the buoyant force and the body sink towards the bottom of the vessel.
