West Midlands Police arrested three people during a protest last Friday. The protest, with activists from Extinction Rebellion and Just Stop Oil, was part of a global week of action. Activists gathered and marched to the offices of several insurance businesses.

A High Court order banning street cruising has been granted to the city council – with police issuing a warning to organisers and spectators. A three-year injunction is now in place after the council's application was heard at Birmingham High Court.
