Logan Dwight - album Logan Dwight 1972

  • 2 mesi fa
Italian group Logan Dwight were born from the ashes of Genesi after Scottish session man and singer Alex Ligertwood (from Camel) took place in Brian Auger's Oblivion Express.
The only album released in 1972 was sung in English with the use of the double voice of Donatella Luttazzi (daughter of Italian maestro Lelio Luttazzi) and Federico D'Andrea, and includes three songs taken from the old 1970 recordings of Genesi with still the voice of Ligertwood. The album was conceived as a homage to the variety of pop music in vogue in the early 1970s and therefore it really contains a bit of everything: classical, folk, jazz, rock, psych , horn rock, and just a splash of prog, baroque melodies, and contaminations of rock-orchestra.
After Logan Dwight disbanded, Donatella Luttazzi continued as soloist and Federico D'Andrea formed Libra.
