Family - Family Entertainment 1969 (UK, Progressive Jazz Rock, Prog Folk)
  • last year
The second album in the discography (#6 in the UK Albums Chart). Interesting cover, right? Somewhere I've seen a similar one before ... I remembered - the album Strange Days (1967) from The Doors . The first track - The Weaver's Answer - is an early progressive classic, the band's "signature". But in general, here the music is close to Fairport Convention and Traffic . Artistic folk rock. Bassist Rick Grech debuted as a vocalist, sang two numbers before leaving for Blind Faith .
