Hong Kong starts crafting security law

Hong Kong initiates public feedback on a proposed National Security Law, over three years following Beijing's implementation of a similar law that curbed dissent in the city. The proposed law may broaden the government's power to charge residents for actions like working with foreign entities to sway laws or spread false information, potentially leading to the closure of these groups. Additionally, it could allow criminal charges for actions conducted globally.
