Welcome to Boba Bar: Bubble Tea Tycoon, a charming game with Kawaii-themed pixel art where you embark on a journey to become the most renowned Bubble Tea entrepreneur in town.
Inspired by the OG Lemonade Tycoon among others, Boba Bar: Bubble Tea Tycoon is a Tycoon/Simulator created by me, Matt, also known as Kwaussie, as a homage to the genre I fondly grew up with
Build your business up - As you grow your wealth, unlock new equipment and recipes, you'll be able to set up shop in different areas with different clientele, and upgrade your stand to maximize your efficiency!
The idea for 'Boba Bar: Bubble Tea Tycoon' struck me when I realized there wasn't a game quite like 'Lemonade Tycoon' to satisfy my craving for it. I was in between jobs and had some free time, so I went to visit my local Bubble Tea dessert store and It occurred to me on my way home that I should make the game myself, and that the game should be based on creating bubble tea.
After several weeks of intensive work, often clocking in ~90-100 hours per week, I developed a working prototype and eventually a demo I am proud to release. I've recently gone back to full time work, and have been optimizing, polishing and updating features and artwork. The game is almost complete, it needs a few more key features that i'll be able to complete over the coming weeks and months.
