Applebee's recently launched a promotional Date Night Pass which offered customers $30 off on meals at any of its locations through 2025. Priced at $200, these passes were exclusively available online but sold out within a minute of their release on Monday. High demand that led to the rapid sell-out, and customers vented frustrations on social media over technical issues and poor organization. The restaurant chain did not disclose the exact number of passes sold. The Date Night Pass is a physical card applicable to 52 meals and non-alcoholic beverages, valid until January 31, 2025. Usage of the passes will begin on February 1.
