MOT to promote Malaysia’s ports as a homeport, says Loke

Transport Minister Anthony Loke on Friday (Jan 19) said that his ministry and the Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry (Motac) would work together to promote Malaysia as a homeport for international cruises.
He said efforts to establish Malaysia as a homeport had been talked about for many years, but there was "no real effort” to make this a reality.
