Transport Ministry to take immediate action on MACC report, says Loke

The Transport Ministry is in the process of taking immediate action on the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission's (MACC) report on misconduct involving an agency staff member under the ministry, says its minister.

Anthony Loke on Friday (May 19) said that he met MACC chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki on Tuesday to discuss unresolved disciplinary cases at his ministry, and as a result of the meeting, he instructed ministry secretary-general Datuk Jana Santhiran Muniayan to ensure that every disciplinary case is acted upon immediately and to report back to MACC.
