Golf Game Gets an Audience at US-Mexico Border

: "During the winter holiday, a group of buddies went out for a round of golf at the City of Eagle Pass Municipal Golf Course, located along the Rio Grande. The US/Mexican border has been in the national spotlight for quite some time now. The morale at the Eagle Pass border has been low due to the influx of immigrants coming through our town. I seized the opportunity to bring smiles to immigrants I coordinated with federal agents and immigrants to have a strong round of applause after my friend drove the ball from the tee box. It's wonderful that I found a positive way to boost morale and bring people together amidst challenging circumstances. Small gestures can make a big impact."
