Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 206 (Arabic Recitation): “ وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُ ٱتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ أَخَذَتۡهُ ٱلۡعِزَّةُ بِٱلۡإِثۡمِۚ فَحَسۡبُهُۥ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَلَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمِهَادُ ”
Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 206 (English Translation): “ And when it is said to him, "Fear Allāh," pride in the sin takes hold of him. Sufficient for him is Hellfire, and how wretched is the resting place. ”
Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 206 (Urdu Translation): “ اور جب اس سے کہا جائے کہ اللہ سے ڈر تو تکبر اور تعصب اسے گناه پر آماده کر دیتا ہے، ایسے کے لئے بس جہنم ہی ہے اور یقیناً وه بد ترین جگہ ہے۔ ”
The English translation by Saheeh International and the Urdu translation by Maulana Muhammad Junagarhi, both published by the renowned King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex (KFGQPC). Surah Al-Baqarah is the second chapter of the Quran.
