On 18 October in Telangana, Rahul Gandhi & Priyanka Gandhi led a rally and later addressed the masses. And in their address, they, as a responsible opposition, raised all those issues that an opposition should raise. The issues which were raised were economic inequality, farmer’s suicide, unemployment, inflation, corruption and how the KCR government and the central government are looting the people. When the INC made that video live on YouTube, YouTube has put a trigger warning on that video which says viewer discretion is advised and this video may contain content related to self-harm and suicide. By imposing this trigger warning, YouTube proved what the foreign newspapers are saying. They were saying that YouTube has been functioning on the whims and fancies of the government. I was initially silent on this issue because I was having a conversation with YouTube and I thought that this would’ve been done by mistake and it would be corrected. But after a long discussion with YouTube, I understood that they are mentioning some community guidelines that are being violated. What is YouTube trying to prove by imposing such a warning? This is an interference by YouTube in the free elections that are being conducted in India. Earlier ED-CBI-IT, who used to be a component party to the BJP and later the media, now YouTube is also trying to join that fraternity. This is unacceptable. We are not going to get intimidated by YouTube nor we are going to get scared from Facebook nor we are going to get terrorized by Twitter. What YouTube has done with the video of Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi is wrong. This is an interference of a foreign power in the democratic process of our country.
