Aid convoy ready to enter Gaza at Egypt's Rafah crossing

At least 175 trucks loaded with essential supplies are waiting at the Egyptian side of the Rafah crossing to enter Gaza. Rafah is the only area that is not controlled by Israel and which allowed the entry of aid upon Washington's request. Egyptian state-linked broadcaster Al Qahera News reported the crossing will open on October 20, and the UN expects the first relief delivery to begin.
