'Egypt did not close Gaza crossing to aid'

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi says that Egypt has not closed the Rafah border crossing, attributing the suspension of operations to Israeli bombings on the Palestinian side. During a press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Sisi also voiced worries about potential Palestinian displacement to Egypt, fearing this may set a precedent for West Bank Palestinians moving into Jordan.
