Torres Strait Island’s Yes vote drastically different from rest of Tasmania

The outcome of Australia's referendum on a First Nations Voice is still sinking in for many communities. Thursday Island in the Torres Strait voted nearly 70 per cent Yes in a state which voted roughly 70 per cent No. Locals are now considering the next steps on a path to self-determination.
